2021 – 04/22 The IRS and President Biden are emphasizing the availability of tax credits under the American Rescue Plan Act to employers that provide paid leave for employees receiving COVID-19 vaccinations. In fact, the paid sick and family leave credit is available for eligible employers who provide paid time off for employees to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination or recover from an illness related to the immunization. Eligible employers are businesses and tax-exempt organizations with fewer than 500 employees. The credit is available to eligible employers that pay sick and family leave for leave taken between April 1, 2021, and Sept. 30, 2021. For more information:
